My Turquoise Bracelet and Tobacco Seeds
So....per the request of one of the www.thebestdayever.com members, I thought I would share this little story...
David Wolfe, Love, and I were sitting calmly having a nice conversation with Michael and Amyra, owners of Angel Valley Retreat (near Sedona, AZ), in their office shortly after the retreat was over. I was literally sitting motionless when all of a sudden I felt something drop into my lap. I looked down and noticed that the large turquoise piece had fallen off of my silver bracelet and into my lap. How strange an occurance I thought since I wasn't moving at all. My hands were resting motionless and comfortably on my stomach. What was really strange was that all this stuff was in my lap as well. The stuff appeared to be small little grains of sand, but upon closer inspection, it appeared that they were made of some sort of other material other than stone. It seemed like tiny wood pieces or actually seeds. They had a rather pleasant odor too! We finally concluded that they were seeds. I thought they looked like Syrian Rue seeds, but David felt pretty certain that they were tobacco seeds. In any case, we concluded that the One Spirit obviously wanted the seeds to remain at Angel Valley, so we left them with Michael and Amyra to plant.
A Native American Indian (probably Navajo) had made the Turquoise bracelet. I purchased the bracelet in a store that just sells Native American Items near Sebastopol, CA. What an ingenious idea--secretly putting seeds into your jewelry!
